Process of electronic component selection

Electronic components are a major part of electronic system design. They are rapidly undergoing technological advancements both in terms of performance and sizes. The component selection for hardware design is very simple but straightforward. There are many considerations and techniques involved when selecting electronic components for your electronic equipment.
On Pepagora.com, find electronic components online from genuine electronic componentdistributors at industry competitive prices. The products available on Pepagora will meet all your versatile needs for your electrical gadgets. The different electronic components online on Pepagora are active components, diodes, EI products, electronic accessories and supplies, electronic data systems, electronic products and component processing, electronic signs, electronic agents, electronic production machine, electronic projects, electronic stocks, optoelectronic displays, passive components and other electronic components.
An error made in component selection can cause serious damage to the entire design and product. Thus, utmost care is required when you select electronic components. The selection of electronic components is done by a component engineer. It is his work to first understand the circuit functionality or the exact parametric values with permissible tolerance level for each parameter.
Just choosing a right component is just not sufficient for product development. To track and control every component specification throughout the supply chain and product lifecycle is a must. The lifecycle of an electronic component is another attribute that should be focussed on when selecting the component. Never choose a component which is near to end of life. It can be an added risk to your electronic device.
The next important aspect to consider is the reliability factor. Will the component be able to perform its planned function for the specified time interval under the define conditions?
Apart from the generic factors such as component's availability or the life cycle, affordability or the feature-rich expensive selection, traceability or the component's history log and the reliability or the quality of the component's performance over a period of time, there are other technical parameters also to consider. The electrical, mechanical and environmental parameters are vital. Each component category has its own primary specifications rated and designed for. However, there are few specifications which are category specific, for example, operating temperature, voltage, capacitance value, memory width, cut-off frequency etc.
On the other hand, the mechanical parameters are the ones which indicate the physical form, mounting styles, size and weight of the component. When choosing components from electronic component suppliers , you must consider the mounting type, number of terminals, package dimensions, package style, pin diameter, pin style, seated height, weight and terminal spacing.
The environmental parameters are the ones that are related to the component’s behaviour and ratings with respect to different environmental conditions. The environmental parameters to consider are conformance to standards, derating temperature, material composition, moisture sensitivity levels, peak reflow temperature, radiation effect and temperature grades.

If you consider the above points while selecting electronic components, you will be able to satisfy a wide range of design applications. The electronic component distributors on Pepagora are abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, industry regulations and dynamism in the electronic component market.

Things to consider before investing in a pair of black leather leggings

For every fashion conscious girl out there, owning a good pair of bottoms is a must. While you have all kinds of styles and pants in your closet, investing in black leatherleggings  is a good idea. From a biker look to the rock-chic girl, leather pants go with anything and everything. They are a style statement by themselves and bring out the personality of a woman.
Just how a man invests in a good and durable leather jacket, it goes without saying that every girl should own a pair of these high fashion leggings.
Purchasing a leather piece can be a daunting task because it can be quite expensive if you are going in for a genuine one. If you go in for pure leather leggings, it should cost you anything in the range of three thousand to five thousand. Beware to buy black leather leggings only from genuine leather manufacturers . You don’t want to be fooled.
Consider the following points before you set out to buy your leggings:
v Start with a simple style: When shopping for leather pants, a quick internet search can help you a lot. There are a variety of styles available such as trousers, skinnies and jogging pants. The best thing is to go with a classic, slim-fitting style for your first pair. They are easy to wear and will go with everything in your closet. Once you feel comfortable in your basic black leather leggings, you can branch out your style and go in for high-fashion leggings.
v Material and fit are important: Remember, when buying leather, it’s all about quality. The quality will determine its durability. Some labels make mixed leather leggings that are a blend of two fabrics for a much more affordable price.
v Leather does stretch out: Always remember that leather does stretch out. Whether it is a leather jacket or leather pant, it will eventually stretch. When buying a leather pant, always go in for a tight fit one because with repeated wears and washes, it will stretch out.
v Find a leather cleaner: Now that you’ve made your purchase, take time to find a good but effective leather cleaner. Get your pants cleaned only when needed. Getting it cleaned too often can lead to shrinkage.
Thus, consider the above tips before investing in a good pair of black leather leggings.

Beat the heat with portable cooling fans

Though summer is coming to an end, temperatures are still soaring. A fan or cooler is invaluable to any room or workplace. It is required in all seasons and keeps the room well-ventilated. As against ceiling fans, going in for a portable cooling fan is much more beneficial. Portable cooling fans are small, handy, powerful, and convenient and can be moved from one room to the other with ease.
Most often, people find it difficult to buy small portable fans online. Therefore, in this article, we will discuss the important things you must consider when choosing a portable cooling fan.
Efficiency: There are several factors that affect the efficiency of a fan. Some of them are:
v Case design: Fans housed inside casings are more efficient than those enclosed in open wire guards. With casings, the airflow can be 50% higher.
v Fan design: Axial fans are 70% more efficient compared to paddle fans.
v Speed control: In most low cost fans, a lot of energy is wasted. This can reduce the life of the motor. High efficiency portable cooling fans use electronic speed controls that waste very little energy.
Efficient small portable fans are expensive initially but in the long-run save a lot on energy and electricity bills.
Fan and air noise: Design of the fan blades reduces the noise levels considerably. Noise is an important factor to consider when choosing a fan. It is an important consideration when choosing a fan for an office, shop, hospital or workplace.
Impellor size and airflow
Many people buy the biggest fan available assuming it will give the highest airflow. But remember, a large inefficient fan will use more energy, but will not necessarily produce the highest airflow.
Speed control
A portable fan with step less electronic control is flexible because the output can be set exactly at the level required for any situation and bigger fans can be installed which will give the option of higher output if needed. As a general rule, always choose the fan with the biggest airflow.
Quality
The last, but the most important consideration when choosing portable fans is to examine their quality. Quality includes things like the materials used in construction, thickness etc. For example, a fan designed for light domestic use is not as durable as one built for commercial use or heavy industrial use.
Thus, keep these points in mind when choosing portable cooling fans

Comparing agriculture of the past with today

The  agriculture industry  is the backbone of the Indian economy. Agriculture has changed a lot throughout history. There are 7 billion people in the world, and that number is expected to grow to 9 billion by 2050. With the growth in the population, there are more people to feed. The answer to this question is through changes and advances in the agricultural system.
Over 200 years ago, 90% of the US population lived on farms and produced their own food to eat. But today, 2% of the population produces food. With regard to producing food, a lot has changed.
Today, farmers use technology to make advances in producing food for a growing world. Through this technology, each farmer is able to feed 155 people today. Farmers use technologies such as motorized equipment, modified housing for animals and biotechnology, which allow for improvement in agriculture. Better technology has allowed farmers to feed more people and requires fewer people to work on farms to feed their families.
Also, today the agriculture industry has transformed into a high-tech enterprise. With advanced equipment and machinery in the agricultural sector, there is a certain amount of market capitalisation taking place.
Changes in equipment have made a large impact on the way farmers are able to farm and grow food.
A lot of  agriculturalproducts in India  are also being used on the farms. Farmers today have also become conscious about using green pesticides such as neem pesticides.
Global positioning systems (GPS), electronic sensors, drones and other new tools have changed the face of farming to a technological wonderland. Back then, agricultural fields were limited to animal power but today, farmers use tractors and motorised equipment to help with field work. Tractors are large and move faster than horses or any other animals, thus farmers are able farm on more land and grow more food.
Not just agricultural equipment, the way in which farm animals are raised has also changed. Now, dairy cows live in barns that have soft mattresses and sand beds or water beds for them to sleep on. In the past, farmers did not know what made a cow comfortable, but now that farmers have more information, they can better take care of their animals.
Chickens now live indoors to protect them from predators such as hawks and foxes.
Biotechnology in agriculture has also made significant advances in crop production.

While the  agriculture industry  has changed a lot over the years, one thing remains the same: farm families own and operate farms.

Buy power tools online at reasonable prices

Today, everything is online. Many people find it convenient to buy power tools online in India . While it is convenient and allows you to quickly compare prices, there are many downsides too. You can’t handle the tool before you buy it and if you go in for a used tool, you don’t really know how old it is. Here are 9 tips to help you successfully buy power tools online.
v Ask the tool community: Some tool retailers offer super cheap prices, but the tools are typically not brand names. To know that you’re getting a good deal, read reviews of the product you intend to buy and of similar products sold by the same manufacturer. You can also post a question and ask for feedback on any online forum.
v Buy cheap if it’ll be used sparingly: When buying a machine which you intend to use for years such as a drill or circular saw, then go in for a quality tool. But if you need a tool for a particular project and probably won’t use it much later on, go in for a cheaper one. It doesn’t make sense to pay a lot of money for a power tool that you are going to use once or twice.
v Stick with a system: Save money by buying a brand that lets you use the same battery for multiple tools. That way, you only have to buy one costly battery and charger.
v Go in for big brands: Tools brands have a strong reputation and are always a good option. If you’re looking for brands, check prices online and in a retail outlet.
v Consider refurbished tools: Certain online retailers also sell refurbished tools. These are tools that are returned to the manufacturer and fixed to like new condition. These tools are less expensive than brand new ones, but work fine.
v Test in stores, buy online: As a smart consumer, you must test the product in an offline store, and then buy it online. If you are getting a good deal with a retailer, forget online.
v Know what you’re getting: You must carefully read the tool’s details online. Sometimes, a tool is substantially cheaper online because it is rebuilt or comes without a battery or charger. Look at the model number and see what accessories come with it.
v Consider shipping costs: Delivery prices can sometimes wipe out savings on a tool. Check the total cost at every step of the checkout process. If the shipping charges are too much, go in for a portal that offers cheaper shipping charges.
v Plan ahead: If you’re planning a project and need a tool, order it well in advance. Certain small online retailers take way too long to ship a product.

Keeping these tips in mind will help you a lot when you choose to buy power tools onlinein India .

India to export electronic components to Hong Kong

Hong Kong is the world’s eighth largest trading economy. At the moment, Hong Kong is looking at India as a good possibility to import electronic components. There are a large number of  electronic component exporters in IndiaNot only does the Hong Kong economy wish to import electronic components from India but will also encourage local companies to set up assembly plants with an aim of bolstering economic and business ties.
Hong Kong is looking at this as a win-win situation. A programme of exchange will be setup so that there is an understanding between the two countries and there will also be a signing of the double taxation agreement and investment protection treaty for promotion of trade and investment.
On the bilateral trade front, Hong Kong expects to see a rise in the exports to India, but see the imports from India to stay flat.
Hong Kong will be importing electronic parts and components from India to make consumer electronic products. Hong Kong is the largest manufacturer of telephones and mobile phones. With this parts imported from India, they are looking at manufacturing finished products.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) company said that local companies in Hong Kong can be encouraged to invest in India by setting up assembly plants to tap the big domestic market due to the rising income of the middle class.
Though Hong Kong is one of the biggest  manufacturers of consumer electronicproducts , it does not manufacture any of its parts. The parts were being imported earlier from China, the US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia. And this is where India can fit in now.
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) feels that India excels in making good quality telecom components because of domestic research and large number of MNCs present.
With India exporting electronic components to Hong Kong, will boost the ‘Make in India’ initiative. To this, the Hong Kong government said that anything which turns into profit is great and in the coming years they are looking at selling more products to India. With some of the tariffs and import regulations being liberalised, exports of products will become easier.

HKTDC, established in 1966, is a statutory body dedicated to promoting Hong Kong’s trade in goods and services.
